Introduction

This pathfinder provides a comprehensive introduction to accounting and finance from an applied and conceptual point of view. Accountants offer a diversity of services to individual, small and large business. They do this through direct employment, auditing and taxation work, and a range of consultancy and advisory services.

Financial matters affect every member of our society.  Accounting Level 3 aims to make learners financially literate by creating an understanding of the systems and processes through with financial practices and decision-making are carried out, as well as the ethical, social and regulatory issues involved.
