Dahl, Roald (1916-1990)

Roald Dahl was one of the twentieth century's most successful storytellers. As a young boy, Roald Dahl used to listen to magical tales told by his Norwegian mother. He led an exciting life - as a pilot, a spy, a life-saving inventor and screenwriter. He drew upon his vivid personal experiences as a young boy, and throughout his life, to tell his own magical stories to a spellbound audience of children and adults.
